About Apache RES

Infrastructure Discipline.
Commercial Solar Expertise.

Apache RES brings the discipline, accountability and technical standards of major infrastructure delivery to commercial solar projects across the UK. From initial feasibility and financial modelling through design, procurement, installation and long-term performance monitoring, our integrated approach is built around one objective: delivering commercial solar that performs.

Built for Commercial Solar.

Apache Renewable Energy Solutions was established to bring a more structured, accountable approach to commercial solar delivery. The business combines experience across property development, civil engineering and major infrastructure delivery with specialist commercial solar expertise.

Rather than operating as a fragmented installer, Apache RES brings the critical stages of a commercial solar project together through one integrated delivery model — from feasibility and design through installation, commissioning and ongoing support.

Design → Install → Aftercare

Design

Feasibility, surveys, system design, yield modelling, grid assessment and commercial modelling.

Install

Procurement, project management, EPC installation, grid connection and commissioning.

Aftercare

Performance monitoring, operations and maintenance, warranty support and long-term system optimisation.

Leadership Built on Infrastructure Experience.

Apache RES is built around the principle that commercial renewable-energy projects should be delivered with the same discipline, accountability and technical oversight expected across major infrastructure projects.

The company’s leadership and specialist delivery team bring together experience spanning infrastructure, engineering, commercial solar, project delivery and long-term asset performance.

Founder

Reece Lomax

Reece Lomax founded Apache RES with a clear objective: to bring the standards of major infrastructure delivery into the commercial renewable-energy sector.

His background includes experience connected with major UK infrastructure projects including Manchester Airport terminal works, Metrolink and Network Rail.

That experience has helped shape the way Apache RES approaches commercial solar — with an emphasis on structured project management, accountable delivery, health and safety, quality assurance and long-term system performance.

Rather than approaching solar as a standalone installation, Reece’s vision for Apache RES is centred around developing complete commercial energy projects from initial feasibility and financial modelling through engineering, procurement, installation, grid connection and ongoing performance monitoring.

Today, Apache RES is developing this model nationally, working across commercial and industrial property, property portfolios, education, public-sector opportunities and larger renewable-energy projects throughout the UK.

Apache RES Leadership Statement

Our objective is to build a commercial renewable-energy business known for the quality of its delivery, not simply the number of systems it installs.

Our Team

Specialist Expertise Across Every Stage of Delivery

Successful commercial solar requires more than installation expertise. Apache RES brings together the commercial, technical and operational disciplines required to take renewable-energy projects from initial opportunity through to long-term operation.

This integrated approach helps reduce fragmentation between the commercial, technical and operational stages of a renewable-energy project.

Professionalism. Precision. Performance.

01

Professionalism

Commercial projects demand clear communication, accountable project management and professional delivery from first assessment through handover.

02

Precision

Commercial solar performance starts with accurate feasibility, engineering, yield modelling, system design and careful project execution.

03

Performance

Success is measured by how the system performs over the long term — generation, uptime, commercial savings and dependable ongoing support.

Our ambition is straightforward: to become one of the UK’s most trusted commercial solar partners, measured not simply by installations completed, but by system uptime, savings and long-term results.

Built to Scale.

2023

Foundations

Apache RES’s founding team establishes the commercial renewable-energy proposition, combining experience across infrastructure, property and engineering.

2024

Integrated Delivery

The business develops its commercial solar delivery model, strengthening relationships across engineering, installation, procurement and project delivery.

2025

Scale and Delivery

Regional installation capability, standardised QA and commissioning processes, monitoring and reporting systems, and expanded commercial partnership routes support nationwide project delivery.

Today

End-to-End Commercial Solar

Apache RES operates as an integrated commercial solar business supporting projects from initial feasibility and financial modelling through EPC delivery, grid connection and long-term performance monitoring.

One Team. One Project. Long-Term Accountability.

One Team. One Project. Long-Term Accountability.

Commercial solar involves far more than installing panels. Apache RES brings together the disciplines required to take a project from opportunity to operational asset.

Feasibility & Surveys

Site assessment, energy analysis, structural considerations and project viability.

Design & Engineering

System sizing, yield modelling, electrical design and technical planning.

Commercial Modelling

Project economics, potential savings, payback modelling and funding-route assessment.

CapEx & PPA

Support for outright investment and Power Purchase Agreement funding structures, subject to project assessment and commercial terms.

Procurement

Commercial solar equipment procurement aligned with project specification, performance and warranty requirements.

EPC Installation

Managed commercial installation covering site preparation, electrical works, solar PV installation and commissioning.

Grid Connection

Support through relevant DNO and G99/G100 grid-connection requirements.

Monitoring & Aftercare

Ongoing system monitoring, performance analytics, operations and maintenance and warranty support.

Commercial Solar Without a One-Size-Fits-All Funding Model.

Every organisation approaches capital investment differently. Apache RES can structure commercial solar opportunities around both outright capital investment and Power Purchase Agreement models.

CapEx

Invest directly in the solar installation, own the system and retain the long-term financial benefit generated by the asset.

PPA

A Power Purchase Agreement can provide an alternative route to commercial solar where an appropriate funding structure is available, reducing the requirement for the customer to fund the full installation cost upfront.

Apache RES assesses the site, energy profile and commercial requirements before determining which route may be appropriate. PPA availability and commercial terms are subject to project assessment.
